Well, while Friday the 13th went well (minus working a 14 hour shift), Saturday the 14th started off horribly. Maybe even terrifying, as due to working a 14 hour shift on Friday I overslept horrendously on Saturday. Meaning I was severely late.
The goodside to this post, the rest of the day went well. Worked 9 hours, dropped Alex off at a friends for the Winter Dance, drove to Stevens Point to get cups for my store and take Scott and Matthew out to eat for Valentine's Day. Then drove back to the store and home. Scott took his medications then went to bed, so here I am at 9:30 blogging away waiting for Alex to call for a ride after his dance.
Was my dinner out what I expected? No, Scott was not feeling well so very quiet and didn't really want to dress up. ( by that he wanted to wear a plain black t-shirt that was too small & jeans) We ended up at Noodles & Company (which was awesome and affordable). Matthew was brave enough to try something new and he LIKED IT!
Well time to spend the rest of my Saturday the 14th with Matthew.
Our family is learning flexibility is key and it is our faith in God and His endurance that holds us together.
