Psalm 24
"The earth is the LORD's, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?
And who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive a blessing from the LORD
And righteousness from God of his salvation.
This generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face- even Jacob.
Lift up Your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory."

As I am journaling through Psalm while reading THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD and REVELATIONS OF DIVINE LOVE it is so astounding the care and love God poured into creating us in His image. His creation screams of His power, beauty, goodness, creativity, love, provision, and so many more. In the REVELATIONS OF DIVINE LOVE Lady Julian of Norwich shares of a day she found a hazelnut and held it in her hand.
"..lying in the palme of my hand, as me seemed; and it was round as a ball. I looked theron with the eie of my understanding, and thought, 'What may this be?' and it was answered generallie thus:
'It is all that is made.' I marvelled how it might last; for me thought it might sodenlie have fallen to naught for litlenes.
And I was answered in my understanding, 'It lasteth, and ever shall: for God loveth. And so hath all thing being by the love of God.'
In this litle thing I sawe three propeties.
The first is, that God made it.
The second is, that God loveth it.
The third is, that God keepeth."
After giving those words some thought and then rereading Psalm 24 how do we miss that the care and love God put into creating the hazelnut and keeping it together is a very small example of how much more His love and care He has for us who he created in His own image. Trying to grasp how a God so infinite, holy, and perfect could love and keep me for all eternity is mind blowing. He knew my faults and sins before time and yet still created me in His image. This is a claim we each can make everyone who has been, is, and will be is created in His image, He loves us. He cares for us and will keep us if we believe Him. I am still pondering these thoughts and trying to put them into perspective.
